Purchasing Guidelines

All online sales of Firearms are required to be delivered to a licensed FFL dealer. This dealer will conduct necessary background checks, as required by law, for authorized transfer of the firearm to the purchaser.

For online purchases, please have your FFL send us a copy of their license to heliduckfirearms@gmail.com

All firearm sales conducted at our business location in Abbeville, South Carolina are subject to a background check. All purchasers must complete the application, and be approved, before any firearm may be transferred into their possession.

NFA buying Process:

When you place an order for any serialized items from us, your dealer will receive an email with your order confirmation and your serial number(s).  As soon as we are able, we will eFile the Form 3 via the ATF eForms system. This ensures your Form 3 is approved as quickly as possible. Once we file it, we will send your dealer a draft copy of your Form 3 so your dealer will have all of the information to begin your Form 4.  

FORM 3: eFile Form 3's are usually approved by ATF in a couple days.  As of 10MAY2021, ATF is currently taking 1 to 2 weeks to approve Form 3's. 

FORM 4 :

Silencer Shop Dealer Portal: We can assign serial numbers into Silencer Shops customer database to allow Silencer Shop to complete the Form 4 paperwork with your already saved information, allowing you to buy from us, save money and still use Silencer Shop for the ease of completing paperwork. 

Question:  I’m using a different dealer, is it possible to still use the kiosk for some of the services such as the fingerprinting, photos, etc? 

Answer:  Quote from Silencer Shop "Yes, we do the paperwork for Powered By dealers. Does not matter what kind of silencer it is or where it comes from. Basically, the dealer has a dealer portal on our website where they input their inventory (model, serial number, etc.). When they sell or transfer this item to you, they create the order on their portal and select that item. The dealer portal is connected to the centralized database with all the Silencer Shop customer information, fingerprints, photos, etc., which is in turn connected to all 500 kiosks. Even if you don’t use the kiosk, but have pictures and prints on file, Silencer Shop will print a set and send them to you ."

FEES:

Long Gun Fee: $25.00 with CWP
Hand Gun Fee: $25.00 with CWP
NICS Fee: $10.00 NICS (required with no CWP)
Other Fee: $75.00 NFA  (NFA Fee is for purchases being processed, stored & picked up in person. ) 

*No charge for eFile Form 3 transfer to your dealer.
